organization dedicated to raising public awareness of the negative effects
of noise. It is based in Toronto, Canada. They provide information and
assistance to anyone affected by noise pollution.

The Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the USA is a
non-profit professional organization incorporated in Washington, DC. A
primary purpose of the Institute is to promote engineering solutions to
environmental noise problems.
League for the Hard of Hearing
The League for the Hard of Hearing is the oldest hearing
rehabilitation agency in the country, offering a comprehensive program of
services to enable individuals to better function in a hearing world. The
League also has a Noise Center, and is an important sponsor of
International Noise Awareness Day.

Noise Pollution Clearinghouse is an organization dedicated to the
dissemination of information concerning noise issues and to providing
support for individuals and groups with noise concerns.

Greenpeace is an independent campaigning organization which uses
non-violent creative confrontation to expose global environmental
problems, and to force the solutions which are essential to a green and
peaceful future.
National Audubon Society
The National Audubon Society is a grass roots organization that has
over 500 local chapters in the Americas.
National Parks Conservation Association
America's only private nonprofit citizen organization dedicated
solely to protecting, preserving and enhancing the U.S. National Park
System. They have been active participants in the Grand Canyon overflight
debate.
National Resource Defense Council
Follow their crusade against U.S. Government sponsored underwater
ocean noise pollution.
Sierra Club
The Sierra Club is a non-profit member-supported, public interest
organization that promotes conservation of the natural environment by
